The pinch you feel in your heart when saying goodbye is not meant to be ignored. It is to be recognized and cared for, until you don't feel it when you say it. I've felt that pinch many a time over the past few weeks. Friends made, friends lost, family left behind. But not forever.
As my summer trips come to a close, I look back on my memories fondly and beam my light upon the future.
